Ethylene 600 Industrial Park confirmed compliance with federal specifications

The industrial park «Ethylene 600» passed the examination for compliance with the federal requirements and by the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia was included in the federal register.

«Ethylene 600» is a common project of SEZ «Alabuga» and «Sibur» company. The park will be the only platform in Russia with a unique window of opportunity has been created to give low- and medium-tonnage chemical manufacturers access to petrochemical raw materials.

It is planned to create the following import-substituting productions: MDI, epoxy resins, ABS plastics, and polyethylene terephthalate. It is also planned to train about 10,000 specialists per year in mechatronics, chemistry, and microelectronics.

The first stage of project construction is the building of the Deng Xiaoping Logistics Complex, the largest in Russia. Deng Xiaoping (the first pile of the logistics center was driven during SPIEF-2023), the total area of facilities will exceed 670 thousand square meters. The logistics center will receive cargo, components from China and send back polymers produced on the territory of Ethylene 600 industrial park. Design capacity of the terminal will be 100 thousand containers per year.

Today 33 enterprises are operating in Alabuga, the actual volume of investments of residents exceeds 162 billion rubles, 11 thousand jobs have already been created, the residents' proceeds for the last year amounted to 138 billion rubles. For investment projects SEZ «Alabuga» is a full-cycle partner, providing the best engineering, construction, personnel and social infrastructure.
