On Monday, July 10, the opening ceremony of the XIV Summer «Sberbankiada» was officially started in Kazan. A presentation on the activities of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone was held during the event.The event was attended by honored guests, including Sberbank Chairman of the Board Herman Gref, Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, the first president of the Republic Mintimer Shaimiev, President of the Russian Hockey Federation, the best hockey goalkeeper of the XX century Vladislav Tretiak and others.
«We are keeping a close eye on «Alabuga». It is no secret that «Alabuga» today is the most successful and effective special economic zone in Russia. It is a pleasure to watch it develop», – Gref noted.
As a reminder, «Alabuga» is special economic zone No. 1 in Russia. Today it is a full-cycle partner that provides the best engineering, construction, personnel, social infrastructure. The SEZ hosts more than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities that are leaders in their respective industries. The total amount of private investment is 162 billion rubles, 11 thousand jobs have been created, and the residents' revenue for 2022 amounted to 138 billion rubles.
