Expert Council of SEZ "Alabuga" approved the projects of three residents amounting in total 650 million rubles of investments

Today, the Expert Council of the SEZ «Alabuga» approved the projects of three companies applying for the status of residents of the special economic zone: «ST Alabuga», LLC «AGRUSHIM-ALABUGA», LLC «Stim-Alabuga». The total amount of investments in the creation of new industries is more than 650 million rubles. Projects of potential residents will be sent to the Supervisory Board headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for the final decision on granting the status of a SEZ resident.
The project «ST Alabuga» was initiated by the company «ST Nizhegorodets» which is one of the largest enterprises in Russia for the production of buses, special vehicles and trucks on the basis of vans and chassis of commercial vehicles of the leading brands of Ford, RENAULT, Citroen, Peugeot, Nissan, GAZ. The project provides for the production of more than 2300 vehicles a year on the territory of the SEZ «Alabuga».
The volume of project financing should amount to 137.2 million rubles. This is the investor’s own funds. In the case of the positive decision of the Supervisory Board of the SEZ «Alabuga», the company plans to launch production in the leased areas of the industrial park «Synergy» in the SEZ territory and start transport production in June 2017. In 2017 the company expects to produce 880 cars. The potential resident expects to reach a turnover of 451 million rubles (excluding VAT) by 2020 and create 89 jobs.
The AGRUSHIM-ALABUGA LLC project provides for the annual release of 5,700 tons of plant protection products. The initiator of the project, the company «Soyuzagrokhim» plans to invest in production 297.2 million rubles of its own funds. The construction of the plant is scheduled to begin in 2018. By 2020, the revenue from production, according to the business plan, will be 1.39 billion rubles. The indicators are comparable to the results of the activity of the investor company Soyuzagrokhim, which, in 2016, received revenues of 1.637 billion rubles and a net profit of 345 million rubles.
The third investor, LLC «Stim-Alabuga», plans to build a plant and a logistics center on the territory of the SEZ «Alabuga». The company will establish the production of retroreflective glass beads with a capacity of 7900 tons per year for road marking. The project initiator «Stim» is the only enterprise in the post-Soviet space that produces not only all materials and components for road marking but also special equipment for carrying out such works. It is planned to invest 222.2 million rubles of the investor’s own funds in the production, of which 87 million rubles will be spent for equipment, 109 million for construction and assembly work, 20 million for raw materials. The project initiator expects to receive 234 million rubles in revenue in 2020, create 44 jobs.
All projects of potential residents were unanimously approved by experts and sent to the Supervisory Board for consideration by Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting of the Supervisory Board will be held in the SEZ «Alabuga» in June. In total in 2017 SEZ «Alabuga» expects at least 3 new residents. Share
