Turkish Minister of Economy: "I personally invite Turkish entrepreneurs to "Alabuga "

The Republic of Tatarstan and, in particular, the special economic zone "Alabuga" are the most comfortable place for Turkish business in the Russian Federation. This was stated by Minister of Economy of Turkey Nihat Zeybekdzhi during the Turkish-Tatarstan business forum in Ankara. The forum was attended by Tatarstan delegation led by President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov.

Addressing the representatives of the business circles of the Turkey Republic, who participated in the forum, Nihat Zeybekdzhi announced plans to reach the volume of trade between Russia and Turkey amounting to 10 billion dollars.

Particularly, he noted the conditions created for the business in the special economic zone "Alabuga".

"I always say to Turkish businessmen - come to the SEZ" Alabuga" and see for yourself what kind of support they offer to business" - said N. Zeybekdzhi.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in his turn thanked Turkey leadership and Turkish businessmen for their trust in Tatarstan.

"In recent years, Turkish companies invested in Tatarstan $ 2 billion. Today 10 large Turkish companies operating in our country, furnishing products not only in Russia but also for export, - noted   Rustam Minnikhanov. - Among them there are the largest taxpayers of Tatarstan, we understand this, and we are grateful for the fact that the development of the country's economy includes investments from Turkish partners."

President drew attention to two projects of Turkish companies in the SEZ "Alabuga". Firstly, he recalled that the KASTAMONU company project has brought benefits not only to the company itself but also to the Tatarstan. "Our forest resources have not been claimed, but because of the Turkish company, a new plant was opened, that produces import-substituting products from raw materials". - said Rustam Minnikhanov.

"A few days ago I visited the "Dzhoshkunoz" company - the company is also expanding, building a new production together with Russia's largest manufacturer of metal - Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant" - said the President of Tatarstan.

He assured Turkish businessmen in the willingness of the republic's leadership to work on the preparation of professionals to provide engineering infrastructure projects. "For us, it is important that projects and all investments should be successful", - Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to the participants of the forum.
