Rustam Minnikhanov opened in Alabuga the first fully automatized battery factory in Russia

On December 8, during his working visit to Yelabuga municipal region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of a new Bars Technology plant for the production of batteries.

«Today we are opening one of the most modern enterprises in our country for the production of batteries,» Tatarstan President said in his welcoming speech. «At the first stage, one and a half million batteries will be produced here. We see the level of technology used and that all environmental standards are met here. The world is moving towards an electric car and there is great potential for the production of electric vehicles.»

Your experience will be in demand, Minnikhanov addressed Bars Technology’s senior managers.

Minnikhanov also appreciated the work the company has done in terms of using all the available types and forms of state support. «I am sure that this is only the beginning. You have good prospects, and we will continue to support you,» Minnikhanov said.

In his turn, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Korib Group of Companies (Naberezhnye Chelny) Oleg Korobchenko expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the leadership of Tatarstan.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Ak Bars Bank for granting a loan, as well as to the management of the Alabuga SEZ for their help in opening a new production facility. Share
