SEZ «Alabuga» at the All-Russian meeting of the Russian student unions

The Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center held the All-Russian meeting of the Russian Student Unions from November 9 to 11. Over 2.5 thousand activists from all over the country came to the capital of Tatarstan as part of this event.

During the event, students from different regions of the Russian Federation could learn about Alabuga's projects, employment opportunities and internships. In addition, young people who showed interest could have an interview with HR specialists.

It should be reminded that this year SEZ «Alabuga» started to actively cooperate in terms of personnel partnership with the Russian Student Unions. In the summer of 2023, about 760 young people worked at construction sites and industrial enterprises of «Alabuga». It is worth noting that over 140 students renewed their labor contracts and remained employed by the company.

According to Svetlana Timofeeva, Chief Specialist of the HR Department, the cooperation would be continued. Thus, the company intends to invite annually 2,100 students for internships, as well as 2,000 RSO activists for summer internships and 3,000 students for actual company projects.

It is noteworthy that the meeting is taking place during the year of the 60th anniversary of the birth of student teams in the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to Rustam Nigmatullin, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, the republic today is a flagship in terms of the development of the student labor unions movement in Russia.

«This year the student labor unions of the Republic of Tatarstan celebrate their 60th anniversary. In 1963, three student construction teams from Kazan Engineering and Construction Institute went to the virgin lands. For the modern youth policy of our region, the movement of student labor groups is one of the fundamental priorities», - Nigmatullin said at the opening ceremony.

According to the results of 2023, the regional branch of the Russian Student Labor Unions in the Republic of Tatarstan was recognized as the best in the country.
