«There will be 10 thousand people at Alabuga Polytech in three years»: Minnikhanov - during his address to the State Council

Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Head) of Tatarstan, in his annual address to the State Council of the Republic, has described Alabuga Polytech, Russia's largest educational center, as a key tool for training qualified personnel.

«One of the most important factors of economic development is the provision of qualified human resources. The solution to this problem should be systematic, covering all key components. It is necessary to start work from the school bench», - Minnikhanov addressed the audience.

The head of the republic said that human resources training should be tailored to the needs of specific enterprises. Among the production and education clusters he singled out Alabuga Polytech, a center for training workers, which in 3 years will be able to graduate up to 10,000 students a year.

As a reminder, Alabuga Polytech implements a dual training program, under which college students study at modern equipment under the mentorship of the best engineers of SEZ Alabuga resident plants in the first half of the day, and in the second half of the day they study subjects in secondary vocational education institutions. At the same time, they undergo internships in the specialized divisions of the company.

In total, this year more than 1200 freshmen entered the educational center, who study in 17 areas of training: «Industrial Robotics», «Laboratory and Chemical Analysis», «Business Software», «Microelectronics», «Industrial Automation», «International Educational Science», «Electrical Engineering», «BIM Programming», «Law», «Economics», «Business Informatics on 1C platform», «Medical Technology», «Installation and Operation of Industrial Equipment», «CNC Machine Tool Programming», «Aeronautical Navigation and UAV Programming», «Industrial Security», «Medical Science».

In addition, Rais announced that 2024 will be the Year of Scientific and Technological Development.
