The academic year has begun for future engineers at the STEM center

Today in the STEM center of the SEZ "Alabuga" the academic year has started for future professionals in the following areas: APCS, mechatronics, chemistry and electrical engineering.

This is the second set of the 100 best graduates of 9th grade schools in the Yelabuga. The first stream successfully completed the summer internship and moved on to the second year. A total of 200 students are currently studying at the STEM Center.

Timur Shagivaleev, CEO of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, addressed the freshmen with a parting speech. He told future engineers about the features of training and the prospects that open up for graduates of the STEM center.

“Here all the knowledge and skills with which every graduate can become a plant director by the age of 28 is given. Use this opportunity to be a first-class world-class specialist! ”- Timur Shagivaleev noted.

On the first school day, freshmen got acquainted with lectures, industrial robotic educational equipment, visited the factories of residents of Kastamonu, Coskunoz, Trakya Glass Rus and Polymatiz, and the direction mentors gave an introductory lecture and answered questions of interest.

For four years, students under the guidance of existing engineers of resident plants of the SEZ "Alabuga" will study on modern industrial equipment and receive knowledge and skills in demand from employers. As a result of the training, the graduate is a professional with developed soft and hard skills, who has 2 years of experience of continuous work in his specialty and a guarantee of employment at SEZ enterprises.

Creation of modern and comfortable conditions for teaching students is an important condition for a high-quality educational process. Therefore, in 2021 it is planned to open an updated STEM center on the basis of the Synergy 2 industrial park. It will be a large and technologically advanced building equipped with the latest equipment for training professionals.
