The North-Caucasian Customs Administration got acquainted with the experience of the SEZ "Alabuga"

An official visit of a delegation of the North-Caucasus Customs Administration to Alabuga took place today. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Dagestan.

The purpose of the working visit was to get acquainted with the functioning and arrangement of the SEZ PPT "Alabuga".

During the meeting, the participants discussed the issue of organizing the work of the management company. Specialists of the SEZ "Alabuga" shared their experience and told about the advantages that "Alabuga" offers to investors, and also discussed the issue of customs policy.

"Alabuga" is a free customs zone, there is a customs post on its territory, which allows residents of the special economic zone to carry out all customs procedures directly at the site. In addition to tax benefits, in the form of exemption from customs duties (10%) and value added tax (18%), the work of customs is constantly improving and improving with the introduction of modern information technologies. So, in 2019, an electronic declaration was launched at a car checkpoint at the entrance. The presence of its own customs post is an important element of investment attractiveness for residents.

The representatives of the delegation chose to visit the SEZ "Alabuga" to borrow their experience in the creation of special economic zones on the territory of the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Dagestan, as "Alabuga" continuously confirms its leadership positions, occupying leading positions in Russian and world ratings of investment sites.

At the end of the visit, representatives of the customs department highly appreciated the infrastructure and the level of services provided to residents of the special economic zone. The working meeting and exchange of experience were productive, the guests received answers to many questions and expressed hope for further cooperation.
