Plant "August-Alabuga": production in Q3 exceeded 700 thousand liters

According to the results of the 3rd quarter of this year, the August-Alabuga plant, located on the territory of the special economic zone in the Republic of Tatarstan, produced 706.4 thousand liters of herbicides and fungicides. Since the start of production at the enterprise at the end of June 2019, this figure has amounted to almost 11 million liters. The plant is one of the 4 production sites of the company "August" - the largest manufacturer of plant protection chemicals in Russia. The production capacity of the enterprise in Alabuga allows the production of more than 50 million liters of finished products, as well as 8 million canisters per year.
Among the products that rolled off the assembly line of the August-Alabuga plant in the 3rd quarter, there are such well-known plant protection products as Colossal Pro (176.16 thousand liters), Biceps 22 (145.8 thousand liters), “Pilot” (143.14 thousand liters), “Sukhovey” (120.84 thousand liters), “Ballerina (120.48 thousand liters). The finished products of the enterprise are shipped not only to domestic consumers, but also to neighboring countries, in particular, to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“These indicators are far from the limit of our capabilities,” says Vyacheslav Tomilov, deputy general director for production at Avgust-Alabuga. - Here you need to understand that they are directly related to the end of the production season, and this is an objective factor. At the same time, our approved production plan for the end of the year is quite ambitious."
For the 4th quarter of this year, the Production Directorate has been tasked with producing 3.8 million liters of finished products. Such a significant increase is associated, among other things, with the launch of three new products for the plant: herbicides "Miura" and "Biceps Garant", as well as the fungicide "Kolossal". Their total volume by the end of the year should exceed the mark of 1 million liters of products.
“Thus, by the end of the 4th quarter of this year, we plan to reach a total volume of about 14 million liters of various types of drugs since the launch of production,” emphasizes Vyacheslav Tomilov.

The grand opening of the August-Alabuga plant with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took place on June 28, 2019. The plant was built using a unique technology “everything under one roof”. The actual investment in the project is over 4.5 billion rubles. The production of plant protection products is equipped with modern Russian and imported equipment with a high degree of automation of work processes. The number of employees is 206 people.
