On November 22, the Supervisory Board of the SEZ "Alabuga" was held, where promising projects were presented and a breakthrough scenario of the company's development plan was approved. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, member of the Supervisory Board - Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation – Irina Okladnikova and others.
From the very beginning of his speech, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that "Alabuga" has been a leader among Russian special economic zones for many years. Today, about 152 billion rubles have been attracted to the SEZ. private investments, 33 production facilities have been created, more than 8 thousand people work. For 9 months of 2021, revenue amounted to 94 billion rubles.
"Alabuga" Special Economic Zone is now a full-cycle partner for investment projects, directly participating in financing and construction, which is important for the needs of Russian industry.
The Chairman of the Supervisory Board thanked the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, as well as Irina Okladnikova for making decisions to amend Resolution 1119 – in particular, for increasing the program by 3 times, from 5 to 15 years. This poses 3 times more tasks for "Alabuga".
The most difficult issue to solve is the lack of qualified workers in Russia. "Our task is to become the largest training center for working specialties in the country with a capacity of 10,000 students per year, which will be provided with all the necessary infrastructure," said Timur Shagivaleev, Director General of SEZ "Alabuga".
Rustam Minnikhanov noted the high importance of the development of human resources and social infrastructure. The participants of the meeting agreed that indeed now the main competition will not be for energy resources, land plots, benefits, preferences, but for qualified personnel. Separately, those present discussed the advantages of rental housing, which will attract specialists from all over the country, thereby removing the difficulties of mortgage servicing among young families. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan stressed that "Alabuga Polytech" is one of the best training centers in our country, which has already shown its effectiveness. Today, "Alabuga Polytech" trains high-tech specialists in the most popular areas - BIM design, business informatics, programming in PYTHON, microelectronics, mechatronics, automated control systems, electrical engineering, chemistry. Teachers at the educational center are engineers from factories with real work experience.
During the presentation of the Long-term Development Plan, Irina Okladnikov noted that the projects presented are very promising, and the quality of the prepared materials is very high.
The speech at the meeting, in particular, was about the creation of new sites of SEZ "Alabuga" in the Republic of Tatarstan. Timur Shagivaleev, General Director of SEZ "Alabuga", presented the promising sites of SEZ "Alabuga" to the audience. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that this task is feasible only for such a large player as "Alabuga".
The Supervisory Board of "Alabuga" approved a breakthrough scenario for the development of "Alabuga", which involves co-investment in private projects in the amount of 200 billion rubles over 5 years. This will increase the indicators of "Alabuga" by 3 times, increasing the revenue of residents to 320 billion rubles per year, the number of residents to 195, and private investment to 435 billion rubles.
