A resident of "Alabuga" Special Economic Zone, "Sollers Ford", has produced and delivered over 2,000 new Ford Transit cars to the flagship of carsharing in Russia.
By the company Yandex.Drive front-wheel drive all-metal Ford Transit vans with a gross weight of 2500 kg with a short base and a medium roof were selected. The cars are equipped with a 2.2-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 125 hp and a 6-speed manual transmission. The new vans will be used for corporate purposes.
Ford Transit production has been established at the "Sollers Ford" plant in "Alabuga" SEZ using full-cycle technology, which allows us to offer Russian customers a modern product, fully customized for the buyer and adapted to operation in Russian conditions, at a competitive price. The range of basic versions includes an all-metal van, bus and chassis, cars are available to order with three base length options, two roof height options and all types of drive, including full. To date, the full range of special versions of cars based on Ford Transit has 170 different modifications for special and social purposes and continues to be replenished.
Recall that "Sollers Ford" received a special prize of the contest "The best commercial vehicle of the Year in Russia 2021". Ford Transit is one of the most popular cars in the LCV segment, the quality and reliability of which are trusted by the main players of the online sales market in Russia and many other companies.
