On December 27, a press conference of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, was held for representatives of federal and republican media dedicated to the results of 2021. The meeting touched upon the issue of training the personnel reserve for enterprises of the rapidly developing economy of Tatarstan.
The President highlighted the advantages of the dual education system, singling out "Alabuga Polytech" as one of the most progressive educational institutions in the Republic of Tatarstan. Already in the first year of study, students of "Alabuga Polytech" take an exam and receive a Skills Passport, which clearly reveals the level of mastering the competence of Worldskills in the context of practical skills.
"Our task together with the producer is to understand which specialists are needed. For example, it is necessary to make a visit to special economic zone "Alabuga", there is "Alabuga Polytechnic", which aspires to become the largest educational center in Russia. And this is not a fashion statement. We have import substitution enterprises or competitive players in our industry concentrated in "Alabuga". And these enterprises need qualified specialists, who are trained by "Alabuga Polytech", said Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
An important advantage of studying at "Alabuga Polytech" is that engineers of the existing production facilities of "Alabuga" SEZ teach at the college, students are guaranteed a competitive salary and an international passport of World Skills. But the main difference between studying at "Alabuga Polytech" and ordinary colleges is the opportunity to practice while studying, and then get a job at one of SEZ enterprises.
