SEZ «Alabuga» and Russian Railways have agreed on infrastructure development on the territory of industrial park «Ethylene 600». The agreement was signed within the framework of transport and logistics conference «PRO//Motion.Povolzhye», which was held on the basis of SEZ «Alabuga» this year.
Under the agreement the partners will combine their efforts for comprehensive organization of railway infrastructure work and development of services aimed to attract cargo volumes to the biggest in Russia logistics complex named after Deng Xiaoping. This is about, in particular, the development of transport solutions, projects of railway infrastructure, including the integration of logistics complex and freight hub of Krugloe Pole station.
The agreements were signed by Timur Shagivaleev, the general director of SEZ «Alabuga» and Vyacheslav Dmitriev, the head of the Kuibyshev railroad - the branch of JSC «Russian Railways».
«Terminals such as Deng Xiaoping, which we started building this year, should appear all over the country. We should take full advantage of the opportunities in agriculture, in the processing industry and start cooperation with China, the East on a completely different scale», Shagivaleev said. - No money should be spared for that. There will be indirect and induced effects. We need to invest calmly and not be afraid of anything! ».
SEZ Alabuga has made one more agreement with the company «Russian Railways Logistics». The document was signed by the Deputy Director General of SEZ «Alabuga» on interaction with residents, development of engineering potential and operation Timur Mingazov and the First Deputy Director General of «RZD Logistics» Oleg Poleev.
«RZD Logistics are reliable partners who have proven themselves throughout our history», commented Mingazov on the signing. - We have agreed that at the new terminal named after Deng Xiaoping, RZD Logistics will provide «last mile» rail service.

«Alabuga» is the No.1 special economic zone in Russia. Today it is a full-cycle partner, which provides the best engineering, construction, logistics, personnel and social infrastructure. More than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities are located on the territory of the SEZ, which are leaders in their industries. The total volume of private investment is 162 billion rubles, 10.5 thousand jobs have been created, and the residents' revenue for 2022 was about 138 billion rubles.
The Deng Xiaoping Logistics Terminal will be part of the Ethylene 600 Industrial Park - the only site in Russia where a unique window of opportunity has been created for producers of low- and medium-tonnage chemicals to get access to petrochemical raw materials.
The agreement on construction of the park was signed in August 2022 between SEZ Alabuga and SIBUR PJSC. Total investments in the project will amount to 1.3 trillion rubles, of which 140 billion rubles are the SEZ's investments.
The terminal has a unique location: 18 kilometers is the city of Nizhnekamsk, and 30 kilometers - Naberezhnye Chelny, there is also an international airport «Begishevo» and the federal highway M7 «Volga».
