“Alabuga” infrastructure construction will be funded at the expense of taxes payed by residents of SEZ. This possibility occurred due to including “Alabuga” in the list of projects on establishing industrial and technology parks. The decree was signed by prime-minister of Russian Federation and published on the website of government.
The list of projects where “Alabuga” was included in determines territories entitled to be funded in accordance with decision № 1119 of Russian Government dated by 30 October 2014.
The Republic of Tatarstan will receive 1086m RUR in 2018 and 1468m RUR in 2019 from federal budget for establishing and developing “Alabuga” industrial park infrastructure. These funds will be granted from taxes payed by residents of SEZ to federal budget. Development of infrastructure means construction of railway lines and production areas for further renting.
Over a period of 9 months residents of SEZ “Alabuga” have payed 4,1b RUR to budgets of all levels. State investments in SEZ infrastructure are 25,7b RUR as of 1.10.2017.
