Alabuga has been recognized as the best industrial-production-type special economic zone in Russia. The results of the VII National Ranking of Investment Attractiveness of SEZs of Russia were presented by Vitaly Altabaev, Director of the Regional Development Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Mikhail Labudin, Director of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks, and SEZs of Russia.
The ranking was released by the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZ in Russia with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Today, there are 50 special economic zones that operate in Russia. Alabuga SEZ accounts for 64% of all industrial-production-type SEZ.
Imports to Russia amount to 22 trillion rubles, therefore, it is necessary to create new local production plants and focus people’s talent and energy on the development of new import-substituting projects; this is the course that Alabuga took.

We provide qualified labor to investors thanks to the launch of Alabuga Polytech educational center which has a target capacity of 10,000 people annually. Alabuga provides not only gas, power, water, and land but ready production premises, labor, and the available capacity of infrastructure.
There are more than 30 unique import-substituting enterprises working in the territory of Alabuga SEZ; they are the leaders in their own sectors. The total value of private investment is 166 billion rubles, with 16 thousand jobs, and in 2022, the revenue of the residents was 138 billion rubles.
