Alabuga Polytech college students won the All-Russian Fijital Tournament «Games of the Firsts»


The 2nd course students of Alabuga Polytech in the Industrial Automation direction as part of the ALABUGA CORP team took first place at the All-Russian Fijital Tournament «Games of the Firsts», which was held in Kazan from October 16 to 20. The championship gathered 600 participants from 23 regions of Russia. The college students won gold in the discipline of fijital-tactical shooting.

College students Artur Mukhamedzyanov, Roman Kornyakov, Kirill Battalov, Nikita Rykov and Danil Rykov showed their skills playing CS:GO and laser tag.

Roman Kornyakov admitted that a special role in achieving the winning result was played by the motivational speech of the team captain, who encouraged the players to win gold medals.

As a result of the tournament, the ALABUGA CORP team was invited to participate in the Games of the Future, which will be held in Kazan from February 23 to March 3, 2024.

They will be held in new disciplines using modern technologies, digital environment and physical activity. The format of the competition involves the use of the latest developments in cybersport, robotics, augmented and virtual reality, information technology and artificial intelligence.

As a reminder, Alabuga Polytech is Russia's largest educational center for training qualified workers with a capacity of 10,000 people per year, where a dual training program is implemented. For instance, college students spend the first half of the day learning on modern equipment under the mentorship of the best engineers of SEZ Alabuga resident plants, and the second half of the day studying subjects in specialized secondary education institutions.
