Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Murat Kerefov visited the special economic zone «Alabuga» with a business visit on May 19. The delegation also included Natalya Sheremeteva, Deputy Director of the Department of labor productivity, protection and promotion of capital investments of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and Dinar Shakirov, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the visit the guests visited the largest educational center for training skilled workers with a target capacity of 10 thousand people per year «Alabuga Polytech».
As a reminder, the training is based on a dual program, under which students are trained in the mornings on the most modern equipment under the supervision of the best engineers of the plants-residents of SEZ «Alabuga», and in the evenings they study subjects in specialized secondary education institutions. At the same time, the college students undergo internships in the Company's specialized structures.
Upon graduation, the students become highly qualified and in-demand specialists in the labor market, with work experience under their belt.
«Polytechnic made a very interesting impression. Colleagues do a great job in training young people. Such a unique experience - training for the needs of enterprises literally from college. I believe that this should only be replicated», - said Murat Kerefov.
Also during his visit, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development was introduced to the high-tech industrial and educational complex «Robopoddons». In addition, the guests visited the Aurus and Sollers Alabuga resident plants.
SEZ «Alabuga» is a special economic zone No.1 in Russia. Today it is a full-cycle partner, which provides the best engineering, construction, human resources, social infrastructure. More than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities are located on the territory of SEZ, which are leaders in their industries. The total amount of private investment is 162 billion rubles, 10.5 thousand jobs were created, and the residents' revenue for 2022 was 138 billion rubles.
