Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, highly appreciated the development of the Novgorodskaya Special Economic Zone.
The minister stated that effective engagement with investors and the establishment of favorable business conditions are essential factors for the economic development of both the region and the entire country.
Since the establishment of the Special Economic Zone in 2021, a production facility spanning 38,000 square meters has been constructed, and it is now fully occupied by residents.
Today, 11 companies are residents of the SEZ. It is planned that the twelfth company will receive resident status by the end of the year.
The success of the Novgorodskaya Special Economic Zone is evidenced not only by its financial metrics but also by the performance outcomes of its residents.
By mutual agreement between the Novgorodskaya Oblast and the Republic of Tatarstan, the team of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone has been granted full authority to establish a new SEZ in the region, modeled on the principles that have made Alabuga the most successful SEZ in Russia. The implementation of best international practices at Alabuga is driving active and effective development, fostering a favorable investment climate for the advancement of Russian industry.
