SEZ «Alabuga» is recognized as the best in Russia in terms of investment attractiveness. This was announced today during the speech at the collegium of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan by State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexei Khersontsev.
«More than 190 companies are residents of two special economic zones of Tatarstan, which were created with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia» - said Khersontsev. – At that, Alabuga SEZ accounts for half of revenues of all special economic zones of Russia and about 70% of revenues of industrial-production type SEZs.
Minister of Economy of RT Midhat Shagiakhmetov, in his turn, called SEZ «Alabuga» a bright example of an effective investment platform of the republic. He reported that in 2022 the resident’s revenue amounted to 130 billion rubles, and the number of the new jobs increased by 611.
«In 2022 the republican special economic zones attracted 67 new companies, 13 of them are residents, 54 start-ups», - mentioned the Minister. Managing companies of special zones need to provide maximum assistance in the implementation of projects at the scheduled time».
Today in Russia there are 50 special economic zones. «Alabuga» accounts for 31% of the total revenue of all SEZs in the country, as well as 68% of the revenue of industrial-production type SEZs.
«Alabuga» is a full-cycle partner, which provides the best engineering, construction, personnel, social infrastructure. More than 30 unique import-substituting productions are located on the territory of the SEZ. The total volume of private investment is 162 billion rubles; 10.5 thousand jobs have been created.
