The delegation of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce today visited the special economic zone «Alabuga» within the framework of its business trip to the Republic of Tatarstan.
Entrepreneurs studied the investment opportunities of the most successful SEZ in Russia.
The Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Russia founded in 1974 is the unique active business-platform of the Benelux countries in Russia. BLCCR has the role in promoting economic and trade relations between Russia and the Belgium—Luxembourg Economic Union (BLEU).
During the visit to Tatarstan, foreign businessmen and Russian representatives of foreign companies-members of the Chamber visited the objects of the investment infrastructure of the republic: the technopolis «Khimgrad», Innopolis and, finally, the special economic zone «Alabuga».
In the SEZ, the guests were offered an excursion to the representatives of European business in «Alabuga»: Drylock and Rockwool plants. After that, the members of the delegation watched a presentation about investment opportunities in the special zone. Entrepreneurs took an interest in the SEZ, especially they were attracted by the ready industrial infrastructure and tax incentives. According to them, the special zone favorably differs from many sites in Russia, and they are ready to consider it in the case of expansion of their production in the country.
