The launch of the first stage of KASTAMONU plant with a capacity of 565 thous. M³ of MDF and 20 million m² of the laminate was held in 2014, and the second stage was launched in 2016. The design capacity exceeded 1 million m³ of MDF and 35 million m² of flooring laminate per year. With such indicators, KASTAMONU plant became the largest manufacturer of MDF / HDF, not only in Russia but also in Europe, whose production is located "under one roof".

It should also be noted that after KASTAMONU arrival Tatarstan found a large marketplace of wood substance and timber that was remained unclaimed. Due to this there was an intensification of reforestation, since the company uses in the production     unmerchantable wood and works with FSC-certified suppliers. This means that they are carried out in parallel and on a comparable scale with logging and reforestation. All parties are benefited from this collaboration, as the interests of both business and government, and the public have been taken into account
