The project for the production of mineral fertilizers was granted the status of a resident of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in September 2017. It is expected that production will be launched until the end of 2018. The designed capacity of production is 120,000 tonnes of products per year.

«This project is very important for both the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan and our country in general,» Minnikhanov said at the opening ceremony. «We will continue to work in this direction. I am sure that these products will have great export potential, since some of their components are produced in our republic. »

«This will be a fundamentally new product. We plan to produce comprehensive granular fertilizers, suitable not only for certain crops, but also for specific fields taking into account their features,» Head of the company Alexander Babynin explained.
