Graduates of the "Alabuga" Corporate University presented their projects to the Rustam Minnikhanov

On December 8, during his working visit to Yelabuga municipal region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov evaluated the projects developed by graduates of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone’s Corporate University.

Future senior executives presented Tatarstan President their projects designed to develop infrastructure and to launch new production facilities in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.

The Corporate University aims to develop human resources for training production managers of the world level. During three months, 25 students selected from 2,500 applicants from all regions of Russia, studied experience of establishment and functioning of Russian and foreign companies, adopted top management practices from senior executives of Special Economic Zone’s enterprises, solved business cases and held workshops.

The main goal of learning at the Corporate University is development and presentation of an individual project. The authors of the best projects will get a chance to implement them in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.

Tatarstan President noted that the Alabuga Special Economic Zone has gained world-class competencies, technologies and management systems. According to Minnikhanov, this experience needs to be adopted and shared. «People, who can work under the modern rules, are in demand. Students presented particular projects which will contribute to increasing marketability of the Special Economic Zone,» Minnikhanov said.

Daulet Mukhamadiev presented a project on establishment of an isocyanate complex in Tatarstan. Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate is a strategically important product for defense industry, to be used as raw material in isocyanate plastics production. The project envisages integration of production facilities into the regional petrochemical complex.

Mikhail Solomatin’s project aims to solve one of the key problems of water utilities such as huge water losses because of wear of utility networks, illegal tie-in connections and accidents.

The introduction of the mobile water control system will help to eliminate three causes of water loss: to identify tie-in connections, to check the state of networks and to display the actual situation of calculation.

Mikhail Erin presented the results of the project of the Alabuga City Hotel reconstruction. The project aimed to renovate the hotel in accordance with the residents’ requirements. The Ramada hotel chain was chosen the hotel’s operator, with the cost of the building reconstruction amounting to 200 million roubles.
