27.05.2016

A resident of the SEZ «Alabuga» — KASTAMONU company — has shipped its first products to Turkmenistan. In the coming days, the company’s products also go to the Balkan countries — Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania.

It has been shipped about 300 thousand. sqm Floorpan laminate in Turkmenistan, and to the Balkans went MDF in the volume of 3000 m³. In both cases, the products are shipped by water transport, due to the convenient geographical location of the enterprise in the territory of Tatarstan, with access to major shipping routes.

«In keeping with the approved development strategy, KASTAMONU continues not only to increase the production of wood-based panels and laminates, but also systematically expanding its product sales in other countries, — the head of export sales in Russia Maxim KASTAMONU Korovkin said. — Now, despite the reduction in the capacity of the Russian market, there was a very favorable situation for the localized in Russian laminate and wood-based panels manufacturers to increase exports. High quality, modern trendy decor and an attractive price are the basis of consumer demand, and we try to maximize this factor into account».

Geography of sales with KASTAMONU plant in the SEZ «Alabuga» is continuously expanded and today includes more than 20 European and Asian countries. The presence of the European CE quality certificate and FSC environmental certificate allows us to look with optimism to the market of the European Union Mill. Recall that the export is directed today about 30% of the products manufactured at the plant in KASTAMONU «Alabuga».

According to the KASTAMONU press service
