Ford Sollers announces the expansion of geography of export and the beginning of deliveries of Russian produced Ford cars in the Republic of Belarus. There are products from plant in the «Alabuga» among the exported models.
The range of models exported to Belarus will be presented with the entire range of Ford vehicles of Russian production — the company will provide the market with the new Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus, Ford Mondeo, Ford EcoSport, Ford Explorer, Ford Kuga and Ford Transit. The three latest models, we recall, are available on the company’s plant in the special economic zone «Alabuga».
In addition, the Belarusian market will be exported special model based on the new Ford Transit, developed with the support of Ford Sollers R&D center: shuttle buses with a total seating capacity of 22 and 25, the shuttle bus «Tourist» with a total seating capacity of 17 people, manufactured goods van, and isothermal van and airborne platform based on Ford Transit chassis with awning.
Belarus became the second export market for the Ford Sollers, followed by Kazakhstan, which exports to the market was launched in November 2014 and has been expanded this year. The project not only opens access to a new market, but also help the company more efficient use of production capacity in Russia.
Ford Sollers is exploring new opportunities to export Ford range Russian-made, including a special version based on the Transit, with a view to further business development.
