Special economic zone «Alabuga» resident — the producer of wood-based panels and laminate, KASTAMONU company — has spent more than 36 million rubles on environmental enterprises in 2015. Development of this activity will be continued within environmental policy during the current year.
40 activities in 2015 (27 activities in 2014) have been undertaken by KASTAMONU company. The aggregate costs of environmental activities totalled 36,23 million rubles (4,44 million rubles in 2014).
«The goal of our environmental policy is ensuring environmental safety by minimizing the negative impact on the environment, — Ali Kilic, General Director of KASTAMONU plant in Russia said. — We have installed new generation treatment facilities, providing a full cycle of technical water supply at the enterprise».
It should be reminded that in 2015 KASTAMONU company successfully passed the certification audit of environmental management systems for compliance the requirements of ISO 14001:2007. ISO 14001 is responsible for the creation of environmental management in the enterprise. Its essence is to minimize the negative impact on the environment and following the latest international environmental standards.
