Kastamonu to exhibit products from Alabuga in China for the first time

Kastamonu has taken part in the international exhibition SYLVA WOOD 2017, which was held in Shanghai. Along with ten largest players of the woodworking industry of Russia Kastamonu has for the first time presented its products from the plant in Tatarstan at the collective stand of the RF Ministry for Industry and Trade.
The participation of Russian companies in the exhibition was conducted within the framework of events aiming at increasing the investment attractiveness of the forest industry sector of Russia and promoting value-added wood products in the domestic and international markets.
«Today Kastamonu works actively towards development of foreign sales markets,» noted Ali Kılıç, General Director of the Kastamonu plant in Russia. «This is mostly due to the oversupply of the domestic market on a number of positions, and also due to the launch of new production capacities by the industry participants. Thus, in order not to decrease the production output, today we sell up to 40 per cent of our products beyond the territory of Russia. This is why events like this are very important to us in the view of positioning and delivering competitive advantages of our products to potential consumers.»
