The management company of the special economic zone - JSC "SEZ Alabuga "- acquired Yelabuga heat and power plant.
The bargain with the former owner - JSC "Generation Company" – was closed on September 16, 2016. This acquisition is aimed at improving investment attractiveness of the SEZ, in particular, for greenhouse complexes.
The special economic zone "Alabuga" has significant facilities for various manufacturing projects. There is all industrial infrastructure, roads, 350 MW of electric power on the area of 2000 ha.
All this promotes implementing in the SEZ such projects as construction of a large greenhouse complex. This direction is particularly in demand in recent years due to the introduction of restrictions on imported fruits and vegetables.
