07.08.2017
During the first six month of 2017, Kastamonu sent for recycling more than 200 tons of waste. The economic benefit from the recyclable materials made about 1.5 million rubles.

«The aim of our ecological policy is to provide ecological safety by minimizing the negative impact on the environment,» noted General Director of Kastamonu in Russia Ali Kılıç. «We installed new generation purification facilities, providing a closed cycle of the technical water circulation at our enterprise. We use recycling as much as possible, sending for recycling hundreds of tons of waste like cardboard, plastic, and other materials. We are also active participants of ecological projects of the WWF Russia, such as Earth Overshoot Day, Earth Hour, grant project for reserves and national parks. All these projects form certain ecological culture and develop the ideas of resource saving and solicitous attitude to the environment.»

Let us recall that in 2017 Kastamonu successfully passed the certification audit of the ecological management systems to comply with the requirements of the ISO 14001:2007 standard. The ISO 14001:2007 standard is responsible for creating ecological management at enterprises. Its essence is to minimize the negative impact on the environment and to follow the latest international ecological standards.
