The delegation of the Irkutsk region led by the head of the region Sergey Levchenko visited the special economic zone «Alabuga» on August 12. The guests were accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov.
The visit to the SEZ was held within the framework of a two-day visit of the Irkutsk region delegation to Tatarstan. The agreement on the visit to Kazan and the exchange of delegations of regions was reached between the head of the region and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
In the «Alabuga» for the delegation was organized a presentation of a special economic zone — the governor was told about the benefits that provides investors «Alabuga», and the largest resident companies. In turn, Sergey Levchenko was interested in the issues of staffing of enterprises and training of specialists.
The guests also visited the plant of the company «Hayat Kimya» — a manufacturer of sanitary-hygienic paper products.
