Yokogawa Electric will consider the possibility of localization in the Alabuga

Today, on the Tatarstan-Japan business forum in Tokyo, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan signed a protocol of intentions with the Yokogawa Electric company. According to one of the points, the Japanese company will consider the possibilities of localization of production in Tatarstan — in the SEZ Alabuga.

The business forum Tatarstan-Japan was held today in Tokyo. Speaking at the forum, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan has experience of cooperation with Japanese partners, the Republic is ready to expand cooperation with Japanese business. Yokogawa Electric — one of the world’s largest developers of equipment and software in the field of industrial automation — is engaged in the automation of Tatarstan enterprises and engineering centers.

During the forum, Rustam Minnikhanov and the CEO of Yokogawa Electric Takashi Nishijima, signed a protocol of intentions. One of the points of the protocol is the consideration by the Japanese company of the possibilities of localizing production in the SEZ Alabuga.
