The first steps of college students into adulthood.

Today, Alabuga Polytech held a ceremonial lineup to mark the commencement of the new academic year. This year, the educational center welcomed over 3000 new students from various regions of Russia.

“Your future is now truly in your hands; everything depends on you,” said Timur Shagivaleev, CEO of the Alabuga SEZ, as he addressed the college students.

Congratulating the students, he highlighted the unique aspects of studying at Alabuga Polytech, discussing opportunities such as internships and team leadership tournaments. He emphasized that their future success now rests solely in their own hands.

“No one will force you to excel in the team leadership tournament, laboratory work, and internships. This is no longer school; it is Alabuga Polytech. Here, we are cultivating leaders – people who themselves want to change the world for better, who aspire to become significant, to make a difference,” he stressed. “Let's focus on the fact that a challenging year lies ahead. However, for those who understand where they stand, who grasp the unprecedented opportunities being created for you at your age, this will be the most thrilling year of your life.”

Elvira Fomina, Head of Education Cluster Administration, emphasized that students are fortunate to be part of such programs. From their very first days, mentors will engage with them both in laboratories and at their workplaces. She urged the students to fully appreciate this unique opportunity.

"You must determine for yourself whether you will create a springboard that propels your career forward or an obstacle that hinders your progress. Therefore, I strongly encourage you to build a springboard. We are here to assist you in this endeavor," said Artem Galiev, Deputy CEO for HR Department.

After the lineup, the students gathered with the ideologists and deans of their respective programs. During this meeting, the deans discussed the upcoming academic period, shared valuable information, and addressed all questions. As a result, the new students gained a clear understanding of what to expect in the months ahead.

To celebrate the conclusion of the holiday, a traditional relay race was organized for first-year students. This event allowed them to display their physical endurance and leadership skills while enjoying the final warm days of summer.

Alabuga Polytech implements a dual training program for college students. Under this program, students train on modern equipment at resident plants of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the mornings, mentored by the best engineers. In the afternoons, they study academic subjects at secondary special education institutions.

At the same time, they participate in internships within the company's various divisions. Upon graduation, these individuals emerge as highly qualified and sought-after specialists in the labor market, equipped with valuable work experience.
