The joint project of SEZ «Alabuga» and PJSC «SIBUR» «Ethylene 600» will create great opportunities for business development. This way stated today by Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov during his speech at the collegium of the Ministry of Economy.
«We need to use the potential of our territories effectively. New production areas – about 200 thousand square meters – have appeared in SEZ «Alabuga». Our task is to fill them with effective residents and organize the work, - said the head of Tatarstan. – There are also big plans for the SEZ «Alabuga» together with «SIBUR». This is a great project that will give small and medium enterprise development.
To remind SEZ «Alabuga» and PJSC «SIBUR» signed an agreement on creation of industrial park «Ethylene 600». The cumulative investments on the project will amount to 1.3 trillion rubles, of which 140 billion rubles will be invested by SEZ.
Ethylene 600 industrial park will be the only site in Russia where a unique window of opportunity has been created for producers of low-and-medium tonnage chemicals to get access to oil and gas-chemical raw materials.
As part of the new industrial park there are also plans to build a logistic terminal in the Tukaevsky district of RT. Terminal of SEZ «Alabuga» will be largest in Russia. The length of the container yard will be 1.05 km, which will allow to perform daily loading and unloading operations with the whole container train at once without additional switching operations.
The reference area of the terminal under the project will be 65 hectares. It is planned that the logistic complex of SEZ «Alabuga» will receive and send in reverse direction at least one train to China every week. By the decision of the leadership of the SEZ «Alabuga» the terminal was named after Deng Xiaoping the great Chinese reformist, who created the government program for the economy and infrastructure of China, which became the foundation of the country’s economy to become a world leader on many indicators.
«Alabuga» is the No.1 special economic zone in Russia. Now it is a full-cycle partner, which provides the best engineering, construction, HR and social infrastructure. More than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities are located on the territory of the SEZ, which are industry leaders. The total amount of private investment is 162 billion rubles, 10.5 thousand workplaces were created and the residents’ revenue for 2022 was more than 130 billion rubles.
