Tanju Bilgiç, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Russian Federation, conducted a working visit to the Alabuga Special Economic Zone on September 2.

The delegations led by the Ambassador showcased several key Turkish production facilities located within the Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Among these industries is Kastamonu, which specializes in the production of medium-density fiberboard (MDF), high density fiberboard (HDF), and laminated floor coverings. Additionally, Şişecam Trakya Glass Rus is noted for its flat glass production, while Coşkunöz Alabuga manufactures stamped sheet metal parts for passenger cars and cargo vehicles.

“I like it; it is well organized and well managed. I have toured our Turkish companies, and the scale and capacity are impressive,” pointed out Tanju Bilgiç.

The dual training program at Alabuga Polytech garnered significant attention from the guests. During their tour of the educational center and state-of-the-art laboratories, the visitors learned about the training aspects where students, under the guidance of experienced mentoring engineers, acquire theoretical knowledge while developing practical skills. The Ambassador expressed admiration for this innovative approach to training specialists and highly valued the human resources potential of Alabuga Polytech.

“It is a highly engaging educational center that draws a significant number of visitors. While there are similar institutions in Turkey, Alabuga Polytech stands out as being far more advanced and technologically sophisticated,” commented the Ambassador.
