Kastamonu produced 40 million m² of laminate flooring at the plant in "Alabuga"

Since the launch of the wood-processing plant in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in 2014, Kastamonu has produced and supplied to its customers more than 40 million m² of laminate flooring. Today Kastamonu is one of the top-3 largest producers of laminated flooring in Russia and is the industry leader in terms of export (33 per cent of the whole Russian laminate flooring export market).
«The designed capacities of the company allow producing more than 1 million m³ of MDF boards and 35 million m² of laminate per year,» said Ali Kılıç, the General Director of the Kastamonu plant in Russia. «Despite high competition in the industry, we managed not only to secure a foothold in the market, but also to strengthen our positions on export routes, creating conditions for the production achievement of designed capacities.»

Today Kastamonu continues to design and launch new laminate flooring collections. Laminate flooring range includes more than 160 decors of durability class 31, 32 and 33. 2 HOMAG lines on laminate flooring production are installed at the enterprise, each capable of producing 540 boards per hour.
