16.11.2022

PJSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" and the SEZ "Alabuga" signed an agreement on the creation of an industrial park "Ethylene - 600". The total project investment volume is 1.3 trillion rubles, Alabuga's investments will amount to about 169 billion rubles. This decision creates a truly unique opportunity for the manufacturers of medical, construction, housing and communal goods as well as opportunities for other industries where the petrochemical products of the SIBUR plant in Nizhnekamsk can be used as raw materials.

At the same time, the range of products manufactured by “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” creates broad opportunities for the development of production in related industries and the logistics costs for the delivery of raw materials being close to zero for the residents of the park can significantly increase the competitiveness of their products.

It is expected that SEZ “Alabuga” will provide the industrial park and its residents with the infrastructure for further development of existing and creation of new import-substituting industries. The project manager will be a young, ambitious employee of the “Alabuga” management company. The advanced working group includes the best students from Alabuga Polytech, those who are ready for implementation of global-scale strategic tasks and fully understand the requirements applied to such personnel.

Special Economic Zone “Alabuga” today stands as the largest and the most efficient special economic zone in Russian Federation. The total volume of private investments has reached 158.5 billion rubles, more than 9.5 thousand jobs have been created and the revenue of its’ residents for the year 2021 amounted up to 136 billion rubles. “Alabuga” is a full-cycle infrastructural partner that provides the best engineering, best construction and skilled personnel as well as public and social infrastructure. More than 30 unique import-substituting industrial facilities are located on the territory of the SEZ and stand as the leaders in their industries.
