Alabuga Polytech student took silver at the National Professional Skills Championship

07.08.2023

Alabuga Polytech student Roman Gizetdinov as a member of the national team of the Republic of Tatarstan took the 2nd place in the national final of the interregional championship on professional skills «Professional», which was held from July 24 to August 2 in Moscow. The student won a silver medal in the competence «Industrial Robotics».

The final stage consisted of four tasks. Roman had to demonstrate his ability to work with PLC and HMI programmable controllers, with the automated CAM system, as well as show online and offline programming skills.

According to the student, the organizers came up with interesting and unexpected tasks, but thanks to the dual training program he was able to succeed.

«The tasks were interesting. At the championship there were moments that I was not prepared for, but my knowledge helped me to successfully cope and take second place», - said Roman. The young man is sure that the main reason for this result is the dual system of education at Alabuga Polytech, which gives practical experience and understanding of nuances - these factors became an advantage over other participants.

In February this year, Roman also took second place at the regional stage, beating senior students from various colleges of the republic.

As a reminder, Alabuga Polytech implements a dual training program, under which college students study at modern equipment under the mentorship of the best engineers of the resident plants of SEZ Alabuga in the first half of the day, and in the second half of the day they study subjects in secondary vocational education institutions. At the same time, they undergo internships in the company's specialized divisions. Upon completion of training, graduates become highly qualified and in-demand specialists in the labor market, having work experience behind them.
