«Alabuga» — the owner of the Development award
One of the most prestigious awards in the field of investment management — Development award of «Vnesheconombank» — awarded the special economic zone «Alabuga». Today within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the award in the nomination «The Best Project on Complex Development of Territories» to the CEO of SEZ «Alabuga» Timur Shagivaleev was handed by the head of the Russian President Administration Sergei Ivanov and the chairman of «Vnesheconombank» Vladimir Dmitriyev.
Competition on winning of the award for a contribution to sustainable social and economic development of Russia (A development award) was founded by the «Development Bank and Foreign Economic Activity (Vnesheconombank)» state corporation in 2012.
289 applications from 60 regions of Russia were submitted for participation in current competition, including 39 demands arrived from the Tatarstan. 29 projects were among nominees of an award then the jury chose winners in 8 nominations.
On an awards ceremony of winners the head of the Russian President Administration Sergei Ivanov thanked and congratulated all winners.
The chairman of «Vnesheconombank» Vladimir Dmitriyev reminded that the idea of establishment of the Award of development was approved by the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
