«Fantastic project! And we will think about creating something similar in our country»: Ambassador of Brazil - about «Alabuga Polytech»

Brazil is thinking about creating an analogue of the largest educational center for training skilled workers with a target capacity of 10 thousand people a year «Alabuga Polytech». This was declared by the head of the department of science, technology and innovation of the Brazilian Embassy Andre Joao Ripple during his working visit to Tatarstan.

The purpose of his visit was to acquaint with the international program «Alabuga Start», which involves the relocation and employment of foreign women in Russia. In addition, the representative of the Embassy also visited the SEZ «Alabuga», got acquainted with the resident plants, as well as visited a high-tech industrial-educational complex «Robopoddons».

According to him, in Brazil they already highly appreciated the level of Russian education, but «Alabuga Polytech» is a completely different level: «It's a fantastic idea to give children the opportunity to do what they love! All the opportunities have been created for them here,» – Joao Ripple did not hide his emotions.

As a reminder, under a dual training program, in the mornings the students study on the most modern equipment under the supervision of the best engineers of the plants-residents of SEZ «Alabuga», and in the evenings they study subjects in the institutions of secondary and vocational education. At the same time, the college students undergo internships in the Company's core business units.
At the end of training graduates become highly qualified and in-demand specialists in the labor market, with work experience behind them.

The representative of the Embassy of Brazil noted that the experience of the educational center should be adopted by other countries: «This is a wonderful model for Russia. There is a lot to learn here about how the training system works and how students can then apply their knowledge in practice».

Recall that «Alabuga» is the No.1 special economic zone in Russia. Today it is a full-cycle partner, which provides the best engineering, construction, personnel, social infrastructure. More than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities are located on the territory of the SEZ, which are leaders in their industries. The total amount of private investment is 162 billion rubles, 11 thousand jobs were created, and the residents' revenue for 2022 was about 138 billion rubles.
