Import phase-out in Alabuga is in full swing: a new plant, Aconit Alabuga, has started up

Today, on October 27, a new plant «Aconit Alabuga» was opened on the territory of the most effective economic zone of Russia «Alabuga». It will produce products for conveyor equipment, which is designed and supplied by NPO «Aconit».

«I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to build our plant in the special economic zone «Alabuga» to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, General Director of the special economic zone «Alabuga» Timur Nailevich Shagivaleev and his wonderful team for their help in building the plant» - said the owner of «Aconit» group of companies Anatoly Mytnik.

We would like to remind you that the company started its first project on the territory of «Alabuga» on the production of rollers for conveyors "Aconit-Ural" on the premises of industrial park «Synergy» in 2020. Localization in ready-made production facilities built by Alabuga allowed the company to quickly set up and run its operations.

«Imports to Russia amount to 22 trillion rubles - so it is important to create new import-substituting projects, support domestic producers through tax preferences, co-financing programs and provision of ready production facilities for quick launch of production» - emphasize in SEZ «Alabuga».

The production capacity of the new plant is designed to produce 400 tons of steel structures per month, that is 4,800 tons of parts per year.

Anton Batrakov, Operating Director of Aconit's industrial sites, also noted the importance of Alabuga Polytechnic, Russia's largest educational center for training qualified workers: «Special thanks to the management of the special economic zone for the opening of new areas in professions that are necessary for our production».

Dmitry Viktorov, director of JSC NPO «Aconit» summed it up:

«The approach demonstrated by «Alabuga» is the most cool. And we have a lot of experience with other economic zones in the Russian Federation. At the stage of choosing where we will build a new plant, Alabuga made some very high quality management steps, and we thank them for that.

Today «Alabuga» is the largest and most effective special economic zone on the territory of the Russian Federation. Total volume of private investments is 158.5 billion rubles, more than 10 thousand workplaces were created, and proceeds of residents for 2021 were 136 billion rubles, that confirms effective work of the enterprises. «Alabuga» is a full-cycle partner, which provides the best engineering, construction, personnel, social infrastructure. More than 30 unique import-substituting productions are located on the territory of SEZ, which are leaders in their industries.
