Kastamonu products have been recognized as the best in Tatarstan
The largest resident of SEZ «Alabuga» Kastamonu took the first place in the contest «Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan». Evogloss decorative panels were recognized as the best in the category «Industrial goods for the public». The company notes that in the future the products will be presented at the federal stage of the «100 Best Goods of Russia» program.
Evogloss decorative panels are used in finishing of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms, as well as walls in any living space.
As a reminder, Kastamonu has been producing MDF, HDF and laminate flooring on the territory of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone since 2014. The company occupies 20% of the volume of the Russian flooring market in the laminate segment, which makes the company an absolute leader in this area. In 2016, the Alabuga resident became the leader in laminate exports among all Russian manufacturers. Thanks to the opening of the plant, 930 jobs were created directly in production, as well as 2,500 in related industries - logging, transportation, and furniture. The total amount of investments is more than 25 billion rubles.
In March 2021, the launch of the third production line took place, thanks to which the total volume of output amounted to 45 million m² per year. The plant's new production line is equipped with the latest equipment, including high-tech machine tools from HOMAG, the world leader in integrated production solutions for the furniture and woodworking industry.
«Alabuga» is the No. 1 special economic zone in Russia. Today it is a full-cycle partner that provides the best engineering, construction, logistics, human resources and social infrastructure. The SEZ hosts more than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities that are leaders in their respective industries. The total amount of private investment is 162 billion rubles, 11 thousand jobs have been created, and residents' revenue for 2022 amounted to 138 billion rubles.
