In the "Alabuga" 50 thousandth Ford Kuga has been released

From the assembly line of the Ford Sollers factory in the special economic zone «Alabuga», the 50,000th Ford Kuga car came off. Anniversary vehicle is the all-wheel drive car of series Titanium Plus of gray color Magnetic, equipped with the gasoline engine EcoBoost 1,5 l capacity of 182 hp, in combination with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The production of the renewed Ford Kuga car started at the Ford Sollers plant in the Alabuga SEZ at the end of 2016. To launch the production of a smart crossover, the plant was upgraded with new equipment in production plants and new technologies for testing and quality control. Today, in addition to the crossover Ford Kuga, the company produces an off-road vehicle Ford Explorer, as well as a full line of commercial vehicles Ford Transit based on full cycle production technology. Production of Ford cars at the plant in «Alabuga» started in early 2012. The number of cars produced at the moment Ford is about 115 thousand units.
In the first half of 2017, the smart crossover Kuga became the most sold model of the Ford brand with a result of 2138 cars. Sales growth in March was 21% compared to the previous month.
