Rustam Minnikhanov: The role of Alabuga Special Economic Zone in the investment attractiveness of Tatarstan is great

On June 2, speaking at business lunch with partners of Alabuga Special Economic Zone Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that investors who implemented their projects in Alabuga Special Economic Zone contributed a lot to increasing the investment attractiveness of Tatarstan.Top managers of the largest Russian and foreign companies operating in Russia — current and potential residents of the Alabuga SEZ were invited to participate in business dinner with Tatarstan President.
Welcoming guests of the event, Minnikhanov noted that SPIEF is a good platform for those businessmen who want to work successfully in Russia. «I would like thank Alabuga SEZ for this new form of communication. We will invite our partners during the St. Petersburg Forum to bring our positions closer,» Tatarstan President said.
Minnikhanov reminded that the third year in a row Tatarstan has been recognized as the leader in terms of investment attractiveness among Russian regions.
According to him, today the special economic zone has everything what an investor is needed, including developed infrastructure, customs and tax privileges. Minnikhanov promised to continue supporting investors willing to open production facilities in Alabuga SEZ.
Director General of Alabuga SEZ Timur Shagivaleev told the guests about opportunities of the special economic zone, focusing on prospects for the development of chemical enterprises in Alabuga. In their turn, investors were interested in the various advantages of the special economic zone from the point of view of their companies. Share
