A resident of the SEZ "Alabuga" was nominated for the prestigious award for import substitution

The company "INTERSKOL", which is the resident of a special economic zone "Alabuga" and Russian manufacturer of power tools and small mechanization means, was nominated for the national award of import substitution "The priority in 2016" in the nomination "Priority - Equipment".                                        

The award ceremony, which took place on November 10, 2016 at the Congress Center of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsyb, CCI vice-president Vladimir Dmitriev, president of the Russian Organization of quality Gennady Voronin, Director of Development Department high-tech Russian Ministry of Communications Paul Whistlers, executive vice president of RSPP, Alexander Murychev, President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, Vladimir Platonov, the vice-president of "Skolkovo" foundation, Alexander Chernov, and other officials. The diploma was awarded to Director of Business Development of JSC "INTERSKOL" Vladimir Skityaev.

"INTERSKOL" company was awarded the honorary title of the nominee for the successful organization and effective production development of affordable modern and highly demanded power tools and small mechanization means in the Russia. Particularly, professional small angle grinder LBM-125/900 became the absolute bestseller, which during the first 9 months of 2016 confidently occupied leading positions in the number of copies sold in the Russian market.

Recall that the new plant "INTERSKOL-Alabuga", built by the "INTERSKOL" company in the SEZ "Alabuga" (Tatarstan) is the most modern, high-tech and deep-automated industrial enterprise in Eastern Europe. After launching all three phases, which will be held in the near future, and reaching its design capacity, it will be also the largest enterprise, producing up to 5 million products annually and enabling up to 40% of import substituting for the most popular items.
