Russian Government has approved project financing for «World Class Campus» in SEZ Novgorodskaya for 4000 beds

In early December, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov has announced a list of investment projects approved by the Russian Government to receive subsidies from the federal budget for the construction of world-class campuses. Out of 39 applications were selected nine platforms, including SEZ «Novgorodskaya».

Veliky Novgorod will have a 4,000-seat student campus. The project will cost at least 10 billion rubles, including the subsidy from the federal budget - 6 billion rubles.

«Creation of the campuses is one of the most important projects for scientific and technological development, attracting talented young people and ensuring the country's technological sovereignty» Valery Falkov noted.

The application of SEZ «Novgorodskaya» JSC for the construction of a world-class campus in Velikiy Novgorod was highly appreciated by experts and selected at the meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group which included representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Construction, VEB.RF, non-profit organizations, professional expert communities and deputies of the State Duma.
