SEZ «Alabuga» has presented the master plan of the industrial park «Ethylene 600»

The master plan of the Ethylene 600 industrial park was presented at the TatOilExpo-2023 petrochemical forum. The event was held on August 31 in Kazan at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.

The guests highly appreciated the project, pointing out that "Ethylene 600" will become a unique platform for processors of low- and medium-tonnage chemicals.

The project of the Deng Xiaoping Logistics Terminal, which will become a part of the industrial park, was separately noted. The logistic center will be the largest in Russia. The initial area under the project will be 65 hectares. The length of the container yard will be 1.05 km, which will make it possible to perform loading and unloading operations with a whole container train at once without additional shunting operations.

«The name chosen for the terminal is a good one. The project is doomed to success»,- said Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In addition, the terminal project was also highly appreciated by Yang Tongxian, Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Dongying City.

As a reminder, «Ethylene 600» is a joint project of SEZ «Alabuga» and PJSC «SIBUR». Total investment in the project will amount to 1.3 trillion rubles, of which 140 billion rubles will be invested by the SEZ. The industrial park will be the only site in Russia where a unique window of opportunity has been created to provide access to oil and gas chemical feedstock for producers of low- and medium-tonnage chemicals.
