«The pace is impressive»: Yaroslav Nilov asked to revise the criteria for potential residents of SEZ «Alabuga»

Yaroslav Nilov, Deputy Head of the LDPR faction, at a meeting with Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, raised the issue of revising the selection criteria for companies to become residents of the Alabuga SEZ.

«The pace is impressive, there is another serious success, and such a step will allow new enterprises to realize projects even more effectively, for example, on secondary oil refining»,- Nilov said.

According to the Deputy Head of the LDPR, Maxim Reshetnikov agreed with the high assessment of the pace of economic development in Tatarstan, and especially noted the experience and practical developments of «Alabuga».

«In sharing Maksim Gennadyevich's words. I believe that the experience of Tatarstan can be in demand in all regions of the country», - Yaroslav Nilov added.

As a reminder, in February this year, Nilov personally visited the special economic zone and educational center «Alabuga Polytech». In addition, in September, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov visited «Alabuga» with a working visit. The distinguished guests were given a tour of the territory of «Alabuga», told about the resident factories and the advantages of the location, as well as familiarized with the dual training program at Polytech.

«The scale is impressive. It can be seen that a lot of work has been done here»,- Reshetnikov said after the visit.

Alabuga is the No. 1 special economic zone in Russia. Today it is a full-cycle partner that provides the best engineering, construction, human resources, and social infrastructure. The SEZ hosts more than 30 unique import-substituting production facilities that are leaders in their respective industries. The total amount of private investment is 164 billion rubles, 12 thousand jobs have been created, and the residents' revenue for 2022 amounted to 138 billion rubles.
