Joint work of Alabuga and EMR is the point of development of the region
On July 21, an expanded meeting on the life of the Yelabuga town and the Yelabuga region was held.
The General Director of the SEZ "Alabuga" made a presentation "On the work of the SEZ" Alabuga" and interaction with the Yelabuga municipal region". Timur Shagivaleev spoke about the results achieved and ongoing projects in the development of the town infrastructure: reconstruction of the water utility, assistance during a pandemic, training of highly qualified personnel.
Vodokanal employees carried out the following works:
- Launch of 2 reservoirs at the water treatment plant
- Construction of a pipeline with a length of 7.2 km
- Installation of water meters
- Modernization of the pumping station 2 and 3 lift
- Replacement of pressure sewerage networks
- Completion of the 1st stage of reconstruction of district treatment facilities
The total cost for the concession period for current activities is 299.1 million rubles.
The next priority in the work on the reconstruction and modernization of the water of the Yelabuga town is the construction of a main water pipeline to cover the needs of household and drinking water supply.
During the period of the pandemic, the management of the SEZ "Alabuga" made a targeted additional payment to medical workers, provided means of protection for the ECRD and provided assistance to the Executive Committee water of the Yelabuga town.
The STEM center for the training of highly qualified personnel of the SEZ "Alabuga" annually enters the 100 best graduates of 9th grade schools in the Yelabuga town in the following areas: mechatronics, process control systems, electrical engineering and chemistry.
At the end of the presentation, Timur Shagivaleev noted that the joint implementation of projects of the special economic zone and the Yelabuga municipal district is a growth point for the development of the region, not only in terms of the emergence of new industrial enterprises, but also for the well-being of the people of the district as a whole.
