KASTAMONU Is Awarded the Title of Reliable Supplier Following the Results of International Audit

A comprehensive supervisory audit has been completed at the wood processing enterprise of Kastamonu in the Alabuga special economic zone. The audit was conducted by specialists of TMS RUS LLC, who are exclusive representatives of the German company TÜV SÜD in Russia. The initiator of the audit was Leroy Merlin (France).

The audit has verified the company’s compliance with international standards ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, availability of regulatory documentation, conduct of incoming, intermediate and final product quality control, storage conditions, storage rules, availability of certificates for product conformity and quality management system. Following the results of the audit Kastamonu was awarded the maximum score and the Category A — Reliable Supplier was assigned.

The compliance with requirements of ISO 9001 indicates a certain level of reliability of the supplier and responsibility of the company with respect to consumers of products, partners, suppliers and employees themselves.

The ISO 14001 standard is responsible for the development of the environmental management at the enterprise. It is aimed at minimizing the negative impact on the environment and following the latest international environmental standards.

OHSAS 18001 is a standard containing requirements and guidelines for the development and implementation of industrial safety and health management systems.
